The Longest Week: New York relationships’ satire

Love was just like communism. It was a great idea but never quite worked out." those words can be heard during the movie's narrative. The director invokes this analogy, suggesting that both the political system and love are nothing more but Utopian dream. Although lazy jazz or New York can bring an association with Woody Allen's productions, the creator is more gracious for his characters. It is a pretty pleasant story of a love triangle, involving two somewhat neurotic New York elite representatives and a connoisseur of Victorian literature.

Funny Face (1957)

I'm strictly (a) tourist. But I couldn't care less. When they parlez-vous me. Then I gotta confess. That's for me: Bonjour, Paris! France. The third most-visited country in the world with the capital in  Paris - extremely popular, visited by millions of tourists every year. City of love, a city of burlesque, cabaret and film. The place which attracts foreign filmmakers. Hollywood takes it as guarantor of success (no wonder, European cities have always been attractive film sets). But there is no other place like Paris. It is not hard to create a list of box office blockbusters filmed on the river Seine. Certainly, on this list would be few titles with Audrey Hepburn.
