What’s wrong with Emily in Paris?

Emily in Paris - the newest production of the creator of Sex and the City, Darren Star with costumes by Patricia Field, set in the ultimate European destination, Paris sounds like everything we need this fall of 2020. The whole concept gives a major Carrie Bradshaw vibe, who runs around Manhattan in high heels and is not afraid to ask difficult questions about relationships, friendship, or sex. But instead of New York City's urban jungle...

Cristal Palace

Madrid is not always on my way. For bigger concerts or events I would usually go to Barcelona and later stay there for a day or two. Besides, it’s such a convenient travel base. However, when the exhibition “Balenciaga and Spanish painting” has appeared at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, it was time to visit the capital.

The new city lights

Although I have tried to travel as much as I could, explore new places and step out of my comfort zone for the past couple of years, changing the postcode was always temporary and had an expiration date. This time, however, I decided to do otherwise, and take the plunge. I changed not only the city but also the country. No pre-established returning date needed. Minimalist, silver accessories complemented the whole outfit. I’m sure this wasn’t my last visit to this beautiful place and I will make more than one project here.

Say no to grey

Winter temperatures bring a change in both our mood and closet. What’s interesting, these two seemingly unrelated things have a significant impact on each other. Somehow we avoid cheerful or expressive colors almost with the same reluctance as standing in the cold. Our Polish tendency to choose subdued colors is even deeper during this period and makes the streets grayer. However, without going to the extremes, we can revive our look by choosing accessories or one particular item in a bright color. I chose a canary coat. Simple as that. It definitely can bring you closer to spring.

Valencia, little Paris on Spanish coast

There is no Eiffel Tower, but there are palms, there is no La Défense, but there are Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias – although Paris and Valencia seem to be extremely different cities, I have found many common features in them.

Does the coat make the man?

The power of individual style is reflected in our personality more often than we even think. Not without reason, the old saying, “Fine feathers make fine birds”, still works. Regardless of our opinion on that subject, the clothes are an integral part of the personality in the same way as they...
