The new city lights

Although I have tried to travel as much as I could, explore new places and step out of my comfort zone for the past couple of years, changing the postcode was always temporary and had an expiration date. This time, however, I decided to do otherwise, and take the plunge. I changed not only the city but also the country. No pre-established returning date needed.

I can’t call it home, yet it’s definitely a new “base camp”, which inspires new plans, trips, and destinations. Now I am surrounded by the lights of a completely different city, full of palm trees, sunshine, and unique architecture.

Something tells me, that here, in Valencia, my collection of sunglasses will expand quite a bit whilst the chunky sweaters and coats will be at the bottom of the closet for most of the time.
